포스트모던 건물을 리노베이션하여 오래된 구조와 새로운 디자인 언어가 조화를 이루도록 했다.
도시 풍경을 담아내는 기울어진 유리창과 실내외의 경계를 확장하는 유약 벽돌을 통해 대비와 조화를 동시에 실현했다

1.  기울어진유리창
유리를  다양한  각도로  배치해 도시풍경을 새로운 시각으로 포착하게 했다. 금속과 유리프레임에서 돌출된  창은  유리  자체로  구조적지지를이루었고,망원경처럼 도시의 장면들을 담아냈다.

2.  보존된  유약  벽돌
기존  건물의 유약 벽돌을 실내에 이어 사용해 안과 밖의 연속성을 강화했다.이를 통해 유리는 단순한 경계가 아니라 공간을 확장하는 매개체가 되게 했다.

A postmodern building renovated to harmonize old and new, featuring angled glass windows that capture the cityscape and preserved glazed bricks that extend interior and exterior continuity.
This project renovates a postmodern modernist building, maintaining its original structure and materials while introducing a new design vocabu- lary. The goal is to create a dialogue between old and new, achieving both contrast and harmony.

1. Glass Object – Tilted Window
The glass, reflecting various urban scenes, is angled in different directions. Protruding from a metal and glass frame, these experimental windows are structurally supported by the glass itself, presenting cityscapes like a series of telescopes. In Jongno, where historic and contemporary land- scapes coexist, the glass captures familiar views while revealing new perspectives.

2. Preserved Glazed Brick Material
The existing glazed bricks, which occupy a large portion of the building, are brought into the interior. This continuity between inside and outside creates an experience where the transparent glass does not merely separate spaces but extends the interior and exterior seamlessly.
