0 반세기를 이어온 한식요리 노하우를 현대적으로 재해석한 한식당.
우리는 브랜드의 전통과 한식에 대한 진실한 애정을 공간에 짙고 깊게 담아내고자 했다.
처음 들어서는 공간에는 브랜드의 오랜 이야기가 담긴 ’담미‘ 공간을 배치했다.

건강한 식문화를 지향하는 일상담미의 균형잡힌 반찬과 향신장을 판매하는 이 공간은 진입에서부터 오리지널리티를 보여준다 어긋하게 놓인 카운터의 볼륨은 동선을 자연스럽게 안으로 유도하고, 시선은 기둥과 마루 너머의 도시가 펼쳐지도록 하였다. 낮게 내려앉은 긴 마루는 깊이감을 주어 시각적인 몰입감을 높이고, 내부 홀과 외부 발코니로 이어진 긴 장면을 매개하도록 했다.

깊은 서향 빛을 적절히 차단하면서도, 은은하게 드리우는 것이 본 프로젝트의 주요 과제였는데,
홀에서 마주하는 긴 수평창은 열림과 닫힘, 동적인 것과 정적인 것의 조화를 연출하여 다양한 표정의 빛과 그림자를 담아내려 했다. 창 가까이에 놓인 기둥에는 삼베를 배접하고 옻칠을 하여 그늘진 빛에서도 온기를 품을 수 있는 물성을 부여하였다.

Step into a traditional Korean restaurant that revitalises culinary techniques honed over half a century. Our focus is on weaving the rich heritage of Korean cuisine into every nook of the space, showcasing our genuine passion for the culture.

As you walk through the door, you’ll find the 'Dammi' area - an affectionate nod to their storied past. This charming space presents a delightful array of side dishes and spices that celebrate a healthy food culture, bursting with originality from the get-go.
The counter is thoughtfully positioned at an angle, creating a natural flow that invites people in to explore. The eyes wander past the pillars to catch glimpses of the vibrant bustle of Seoul beyond. The long, low wooden floor stretches, seamlessly connecting the warm interior with the welcoming outdoor balcony.

A significant challenge in our design was skillfully managing the bright southwestern light. We’ve installed long, horizontal windows that strike a lovely balance between openness and intimacy, capturing a dynamic interplay of light and shadow throughout the day.
Nearby, the columns are wrapped in soft hemp fabric and coated in lacquer, giving them a touch of warmth and character. They invite everyone who steps inside to not just enjoy a meal, but to embark on a heartfelt journey steeped in history.
